ThermoSnug Inc. ("ThermoSnug", "we", "us") runs thermosnug.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

What we collect

  • Contact details: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address.
  • Order details: what you buy, return, or ask us about.
  • Payment details: processed securely by Shopify and our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser, pages viewed, and how you found us, collected with cookies and similar tools.
  • Anything you send us: emails, contact-form messages, Challenge entries and video links.

How we use it

  • To process, ship and support your orders, returns and warranty claims.
  • To run our website, prevent fraud, and keep the store secure.
  • To send marketing emails if you've signed up or bought from us (see "Emails" below).
  • To understand how people use our site and improve it, and to measure and show our ads.
  • To run promotions like the ThermoSnug Challenge.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with: Only with service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need:

  • Shopify (our store and checkout platform) and our payment processors.
  • Our fulfilment warehouse and shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
  • Email and analytics tools, and advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google, to measure and show our ads.
  • Professional advisers (like accountants or lawyers) and authorities when the law requires it. We don't sell your personal information for money. Some of these providers may store data outside your province, state or country.

Emails: We email you marketing only if you sign up, or if you've bought from us (as the law allows). Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe anytime. We'll still send emails about your orders.

Cookies and ads: We use cookies to run the store, remember your cart, and — with your consent where required — for analytics and advertising. You can manage your choices through our cookie banner, your browser settings, and the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer. Where required by law, we honour Global Privacy Control signals.

Your rights: Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal information, get a copy of it, or opt out of targeted advertising. Email support@thermosnug.com. We may need to verify your identity first. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

How long we keep it: As long as we need it for the purposes above, including legal, tax and accounting requirements (usually up to 7 years for order records).

Security: We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.

Children: Our products are for ages 14+, and our store isn't intended for children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets that age). If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
